How to Send SMS With a Sender ID

Sometimes, you do not want to disclose your cell phone number while sending somebody a text message. Unfortunately, cell phones do not give you the option to specify a sender ID/screen name instead of the cell phone number. You can, however, choose to send the message from the Internet. Not only is your phone number hidden from the recipient, but you also save money, as Web SMS services are free.

  Log in to the account using the username and password you created in the previous step.

  Enter your screen name in the "Sender" field. You can choose whatever you want.
