Know the Ribbon
The Notepad7 ribbon is pretty basic with only two tabs and a few sections on each tab. Associated with the Home tab are general Clipboard, Font, Date/Time and Editing options. While under the View tab, there are two options, Status bar and Word wrap.
Besides the main ribbon, it has an Office like Quick Access Toolbar. It has quick save and undo options. You may customize to have a few more quick tools. It also lets you select the position of the toolbar and hide the ribbon.

Conclusion
Notepad7 updates the interface of the normal Windows Notepad. It isn’t a necessary upgrade, but if you like the interface, it’s worth checking out and using as your default notepad.
