- Download a rooting program and root the phone.
- The process of rooting means that root access to the phone is given so that essential tasks can be undertaken, which would not normally be available without root access. - Back up any phone data or information you wish to keep. Once the process of updating the phone’s ROM is under way, all information previously on the phone will be completely lost and unrecoverable. - Copy the ROM files to your phone carefully from your computer, following any instructions provided for your phone and model, via the provided USB connection cable.
